Winter vacations in Park City are usually centered around snow sports. There are endless possibilities for skiing and snowboarding in Park City, with its combined 9,326 acres of “The Greatest Snow on Earth”. The three area resorts offer 426 runs, bowls, and parks — all served by 58 lifts.

Canyons Resort

 

The Canyons Resort offers both skiers and snowboarders a great experience. The mountain features miles of runs and wide open bowls for riders of all skill levels.

 

Canyons Resort ticket prices start at $55/per day for adults and $33 for children and seniors when purchased on line. Visitors can also see lower ticket prices when purchasing multiple day passes.

 

The Canyons Resort is also offers the Epic passes that allows skiers to enjoy several different resorts including Park City Mountain Resort, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and many others. The Passes are available at the following prices:

 

Epic Local Pass — $569/adults (Age 19+), $439/teens (Age 13-18), $289/children (Age 5-12)– some area and date restrictions apply

 

Regular Epic Pass (no restrictions) — $749/adults (Age 13+) and $389/children (Age 5-12)

 

Park City Mountain Resort

 

Park City Mountain Resort features an expansive 3,300 acres of ski and snowboard terrain  that is considered some of the best in North America.

 

PCMR offers passes for several different mountain areas as well as times including:

 

  • All Day

  • Half Day

  • Lower Mountain

  • Twilight

  • Night

 

Currently, PCMR has not released ticket prices for the upcoming season; however, the new Epic pass is available. The Epic Pass allows skiers to enjoy several different ski resorts including the Canyons, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, and many others.

Deer Valley Resort

 

Deer Valley Resort is renown for its impeccable guest services. At Deer Valley, you can ski perfectly groomed slopes and steep bowls — there’s something for everyone!

 

Regular lift ticket rates:

Adults $114

Senior $81 (Age 65+)

Child $72 (Age 5-12)

Tot $25 (Age 1-4)

 

Multiple day tickets are available for additional savings.

 

Other Great Winter Activities

 

The Park City area also offers winter activities other than skiing and snowboarding.

 

Explore the great outdoors with a thrilling snowmobile adventure. Several area companies will take visitors on guided tours aboard snowmobiles to explore the area mountains.

 

Enjoy a great day of snow tubing at Gorgoza Park. You’ll find both beginner and advanced runs. The Park also offers fun activities for the kids including a tubing carousel and mini-snowmobile rides.

 

Take to the skies with a hot-air balloon ride, or glide through open meadows and through the woods with a sleigh ride.
