Greetings from Door County, where our prediction that sales and activity would pick up after the holiday festival weekends was quite accurate. Our team did some well-attended open house hours at Yacht Harbor Shores yesterday; additionally, we are taking on a new listing in Ellison Bay, working on a few price reductions for our already fantastic listings, and had a SOLD waterfront condominium in Sister Bay. Today is a beautiful day for the Fall 50.
This Week in Door County Real Estate:
If you have been watching the news, most lender interest rates on 30 year fixed rate mortgages dropped BELOW 4% this week for the first time in over a year...making this an EXCELLENT time to purchase your Door County property. We had a lot of sales during the past week, with some high and low waterfront sales and a lot of inland properties to the south. As usual, we have an eclectic mix of new listings and price reductions throughout Door County in all locations and price points this week. We still have nice autumn color, too.
Remember, over 90% of our buyers find us online through our website or through our parent brokerage site, so by the time they come to Door County, we have generally spoken or e-mailed several times and these buyers have done their due diligence and know which listings they want to see. They also look at public tax records and are educated as to what they want and how much they want to spend. We hope this November is as productive as last year. Our final festival is in Fish Creek this weekend, then we will gear up for the holidays.
