Can a password change your life?
I read an article recently from the Huffington post about an office worker who used his computer passwords to change his life.
It is simple, easy, and it's something we could all do.
He had been harboring resentment towards his ex-wife- so when prompted to change his current password, (for security purposes), he made his next password: "Forgive@h3r" or Forgive her.
It became a daily reminder to do just that.
When that password expired, his next password was:
"Quit@Smoking4ever"
And guess what? He quit smoking.
His next password: "Save4trip@Thailand"
Three-months later he went to Thailand.
Examples of how he used his password to change his life...
Forgive@her ← to my ex-wife, who started it all.
Quit@smoking4ever ← it worked.
Save4trip@thailand ← it worked.
Eat2times@day ← it never worked, still fat.
Sleep@before12 ← it worked.
Ask@her4date ← it worked. I fell in love again.
No@drinking2months ← it worked. I feel better.
Get@c4t! ← it worked. I have a beautiful cat.
Facetime2mom@sunday ← it worked. I talk with my mom every week.
After reading the article, by Maurcio Estrella, I changed one of my passwords to @Bandon Dunes... because I'm prepping for a tournament there next spring. It reminds me to work on my game and get in shape!
Could changing your passwords change your life?
What would you change them to?
