In the center of a large Amish community in the rural hills of Ohio are the finest craftsmen who are united in the effort to produce the highest quality hardwood that is unparralleled in the industry. Whew that was a lot to say and I can't say enough. This wood is actually still forested by horse and chain from the Appalachian mountains, kiln-dried and precisely milled. Go USA! From my research this may be the last totally Amish-made hardwood floor. Available in domestic species like White Oak, Cherry, Maple, and Hickory pre-finished or unfinished, as well as handscraped textures, wire brushed, and old mill knifed. Check out this sample of Sheoga flooring.
