One of the challenges this month was to follow up with our prior clients and our referral sources.
That just means I have a legitimate reason, or more so than my usual "just being social". A higher authority was asking me to be social.
One of my references actually led to this story, settled in mid summer.
As realtors, we have churches and soccer groups and facebok friends, and a whole set of people who work with us and see us as people they can refer to. In this case, this is a printer. He's always coming across different people who need an agent, so that works well for me.
While having dinner last week, we had a great conversation. David got into the printing business 5-6 yeas ago with Minuteman Press Crystal City. Then in 2014, he acquired Minuteman Press Ballston, which has been operational for 30+ years. Than ensured he had a monopoly on Arlington, Virginia.
The best part about dinner....he's expanding. We spoke about his soon to be shop in Clinton, MD and then 2 others that I'm not sure I should yet be speaking about.
Some kids acquire baseball cards (or we did when I was a kid), some kids acquire Star Wars collectibles. Evidently, David acquire print shops. And he's having fun doing it.
