Palos Verdes Estates Annual Free Shredding & E-Waste Collection
The City of Palos Verdes Estates will be holding it's Annual Free Shredding and E-Waste Collection Event in partnership with waste hauler, Athens Services, on Saturday, November 8, 2014. This is a great time to shred and dispose documents that you have been saving. You also have an opportunity to dispose of electrical items that you have been putting aside throughout the year that cannot be picked up by regular trash collections.
Palos Verdes Estates residents (please bring proof of residency) can bring all of these articles to the Palos Verdes High School parking lot on Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The school is located at 600 Cloyden Road, Palos Verdes Estates. You can bring up to three “banker” sized boxes per household and all of your electronic waste. Electronic waste includes TV's, printers, DVD players computers and etc. They will not accept hazardous waste such as paint, oil, light bulbs, etc.
Additionally, throughout the year the S.A.F.E. Collection site (household hazardous waste) is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1400 N. Gaffey Street, San Pedro, 90021.
