Simple (Free) Technique Will Transform Your Facebook Experience and Results

Education & Training with

In this video I'll show you how to use Facebook Lists to transform your personal Facebook page into a powerful marketing machine. Best of all you can do this for free.

Creating lists is the process of putting all of your contacts (friends) into groups just like you would do in your contact management program. One primary benefit is that you will be able to filter out unwanted noise from your news feed and connect with your most important contacts. You will also be able to post status updates that are targeted and relevant to a specific group of people.

Important note: This technique can only be applied to your Personal Page. Lists are not available on your business page.

Find out why I recommend the personal page for most agents by clicking here!

Here are the steps for you to review!

• Click on the word "home". This will put you into your newsfeed

• On the left there is one section titled "Friends"

• Click on the word "Friends" or hover over and click on "More"

• You are going to see your existing lists

• Click "Create List"

• Name your list

• Begin adding people to the list

Once you have your lists created get into the habit of going to each list to check on new activity. Practice good etiquette by, liking, sharing, and commenting.

By implementing this strategy you can change your Facebook experience and build stronger, more valuable relationships that will pay dividends for years to come.

Good advice, Nathan.  I've been using FB Lists for some time now.  I can catch up on whatever topic I want to, I can communicate with whoever I want to.

I used to sort people into lists on my FB, Linked In, Twitter... I need to work with them~ that what bring results.

I remember, consulting a new LI member on networking, he actually followed my advice and is getting great results( just sent me a thanks note). Seems we all know theory, but only practice makes our knowledge valuable.

Good info on list building, I've been using them for quite a while and have about 20 lists now. I think the next logical step for an agent to enhance their list building efforts would be to use Facebook Graph Search. It is a little more advances though, perhaps you could do a segment on that tool sometime as well.

Facebook lists are fantastic - if you are posting a listing that you just want Realotrs to see, or posting your birthday - lists help to make sure that the people you inted to see the post see it!
