I was planning to talk more about the golfing experience one can enjoy while in Kent but while I was taking pictures I realized how much more you get from the city and what it has to offer. http://www.ci.kent.wa.us/index.asp is the city's very informational website.
There really is no "Golf Course Homes" on the munincipal course of Riverbend. There are view homes on the surrounding hills, apartments across the street and in walking distance any given direction and condos just on the north east portion of the course.
The condos you can purchase in the low 200's for 2 bedrooms, spacious floor plans are right in teh middle of a plethra of activities.
The Ice Center, golf course, restaurants, walking trails along the Green River and Softball/Baseball parks all are in walking diostance of the many condos available today. Generallt speaking, this area has excellent, easy freeway access both to SR 167 and I-5. Shopping and the new Kent Station are also within minutes.
Not to take away from the fact my main attraction in Kent is the Golf. Riverbend Golf Course on Meeker St. boasts a championship 18 holes, modern driving range with pro shop, a par 3 course, mini putt course, and the Fire Creek Grill.
Sports Illustrated selected Kent as the Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary Sportstown for the state of Washington. Formal recognition was made Saturday, November 8, 2003 by Sports Illustrated and the National Recreation and Parks Association, in a ceremony at the Kent Valley Ice Centre as part of SI's yearlong 50th anniversary celebration.
To close, if you are looking for condo living in a urban setting thats affordable and offers all the amenities you can imagine...Kent can be your next home!
