Oregon is known for a wet climate which produces a *slick, mossy goo on decks and entrance steps.

Note to sellers: Please do not list your house until you have cleared your entrance of moss.

* This home is not safe to be shown to buyers until properly cleaned and treated for moss and mildew. Sometimes, I will preview homes without my buyers, if MLS photos look "murky" or dark. I took this photo during a preview with a fellow agent.  It was worse than I thought it would be!

Hi Barbara - whenever possible, I prefer to preview a home prior to showing it to clients.  I can discover hazards, situtations to point out or decide to eliminate from the showing schedule.

Barbara- The picture  itself  totally will not give any interest to the buyer.  It's no harm in asking sellers to have their house  cleaned up  when they plan to sell it.

And by the way, just a friendly reminder, do not go on solo when doing a preview, just a safety precation. Have a great day!

Barbara - I lived in Oregon for many years, and you are absolutely right. Homeowners need to make sure their stairs are clean and safe for anyone walking up them.
