The real estate market in Westlake Village, CA is definately "cooling off" now that Autumn is here. Homes were literally flying off the shelves in May, June and July. It has now slowed down and although closing prices are up, indications point to the fact that the higher bracket is finally moving after many price cuts and some stagnation. Inventory is still low, however, which urges newer sellers to hold fast, but without buyers chomping at the bit for the newer listings priced at or above market value, activity has slowed and fewer homes are closing.
