Founded in 1982 the Kiwanis Club of Alvin was initiated by a few local businessmen. Their hopes were to make the Alvin community a better place to raise children.
The first clubs were organized to promote the exchange of business among the members. They soon found themselves providing many charitable gifts to needy children. Helping needy children became what they were all about and it has snowballed from then. They hold many yearly events that the entire community look forward to each year.
I have many friends who are members of the Alvin Kiwanis Chapter. They are great people to hang out with and provide many contacts and leads for my business.
