The Power of Focus-One of six books that I read last year.

I know I know I am a slacker. But it is like the fifth book that I have read in the past three months. My goal last year was to read about around 10 books I believe. But for some reason I slacked of. This is a very good book that I highly recommend.

First of all I like to read books that will challenge, motivate, encourage, inspire, teach and move me. A book that will put you out of your comfort zone and make you realize that God has made you to be more than what you have achieved or capable of achieving on this planet earth. This book had some exercises after each chapter in the book to see where you are in your life whether it is your personal or professional.

Doing exercises in the book would be very helpful if you want to see where in your life you can improve on. It is a book that I would definitely read again. The book touched on many things such as only associate with successful people in life, read more books like this, practice new habits and get rid of bad habits. Reading this book one of the things that I learned is that Knowledge is Power but it taught me that the utilization of knowledge would lead to power because what is the use of knowledge and you don't do nothing with it? Love great books that will challenge you and take you out of your comfort zone.

One of my goals this year is to read around 24 books on topics such as Leadership,Time Management,Time Blocking,Money Management,Writing,Motivation,Inspiration,Real Estate Investing,Real Estate,Estate Planning,Business Planning,Business,Health and Spirituality just to name a few.

One thing that this book also taught me of course is Focus. Always Focus on the bigger picture. Someone once said "What you Focus on expands". Key to accomplishing your goals this year is to focus on it every day and don't let anything distract you from it.

So what books have you read or plan on reading this year that will help you accomplish your goals and help you improve in your personal and professional life?

The Power of Focus

Reading more books is definitely on my "to-do" list for 2015.  :)  I am working through 3 right now, but I should probably FOCUS on one and finish them one by one!

This is the second place in the last few days where this book has been mentioned.  I read many books.  I'll have to add to my reading list.  Thank you.

Lanre two books a month!  I will settle for one, along with the numerous blogs, new feeds, and Realtor magazine articles, just to name a few.  Oh and yes, Focus is now on the 2015 list.  Thank you.

Lanre,

I read it ....years ago.  Different cover and all. It wouldn't be inappropriate for me to get through it again in 2016.

I used to read a lot. Now when I have time I just listen to books.

Thanks for recommendation. I'll check it out.
