Sterling Strathe, Realtor, Auctioneer, and very interesting fellow
It is sure to be an enjoyable day when you have a visit with Sterling on your calendar.
I first met Sterling when he was selling a house in Stevens Point, I was impressed at how well he can work a room, getting people to invest a bit more than the average agent could possibly do.
Shortly after this he asked me to take a look at a group of forest land properties that he was selling, again he got much more for these that I thought possible.
Since that time we have done a bit of work on some of my properties as well, and he does have a very impressive operation with some very talented people.
Though we do have a lot of real estate, forestland, and natural resource (he used to work at UWSP too) things in common, the really fun things we have to talk about are Dogs, Sled Dogs in particular.
His son and daughter in law are professional dog sled racers in Alaska where they raise great dogs and build some of the best sleds.
So Sterling and I do have to spend a little time discussing the big races like the Iditarod and the Yukon Quest, and all the fun that the folks up north are having.
