How Is Your Furnace Feeling?

Happy or Sad?

Check Up Time!!

This past week as my husband and I were working on a rental house we kept smelling gas when we would first go in.  So even though the furnace was only a couple of years we decided we needed to get it serviced.

The service man discovered a very loose connection that was allowing gas to escape.  We don't know how dangerous this could have been but we are so grateful that we had everything checked out.

This is such a small thing to do to prevent what could have been a great tradgedy.

So here is what you need to do:

          Get those furnaces serviced

          Change filters

Change batteries in the smoke detectors

          Change your clock tonight

 FALL BACK

Barbara - Great advice to get your home furnace checked out, even if is a newer one.  I like how you've tied this as part of your "Fall Back" time change check-list of things to do at this time of year!

We have electric heat down here but we only have to use it a few days per year.  Different world with heating in Florida.

Thanks Laura Allen.  It just seemed like the logical time to do it.

Chris Griffith I am sure air conditioning is a higher priority in your part of the country!
