Happy Dia de los Muertos!
Dia de los Muertos- or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican celebration, and a day to celebrate, remember and honor those who have passed. On this day, in Mexico, the streets near the cemeteries are filled with decorations of papel picado, flowers, candy calveras (skeletons & skulls), and parades.
It is believed that the spirit of the dead visit their families on October 31st and leave on November 2.
I did not know about this but it's pretty much in step with All Hallows Eve (10/31) and All Saints Day (11/1)

Not to sound morbid but I wish I had the spirits of my parents around for one day a year. It would be a comfort, I do miss them so
