A Good Real Estate Agent Does Not Price Your Home

A Good Real Estate Agent Does Not Price Your Home.  Any one can set the price of your home for what ever dollar amount they choose.  Any person can tell you what you want to hear and put a sign in your yard.  However, if you truly want your home to say sold, then you want to work with an honest Realtor who does not price your home.

I will say it again..  A Good Real Estate Agent Does Not Price Your Home!  A good Real Estate agent instead lets the market price your home.  The difference between the two is getting your home sold rather then sitting on the market for months on end.

The good news is that numbers don't lie, manipulate or be lead by emotion.  Numbers are just that, numbers.  By looking at facts, solds, history and your neighborhood a Good Realtor can review the data and let the market price your home.

The benefits of letting the market price your home are short and sweet.

1.  Days on Market is shorter

2. Number of prospective buyers increases

3. Proven higher price if your home sells in the first 30 days

4. You get to move on to your next home sooner rather then later.

It is so important to select an agent that you can communicate with, but also just as important to select an agent who knows the numbers.

The final price comes down to what the buyer is willing to pay and seller willing to sell for.  Our job is to target as close to that as we can.  Price for today's market - not 6 months from now market!

This is spot on information. So many sellers are tempted by the lure of more money, but it usually ends up costing them in the end.

Very true.  It really doesn't matter what the seller wants for their home.  The market will dictate the final selling price.

There's a lot of truth is what you're saying how the market dictates the price on any home. All Good Agents already know this fact.
