Oh yes I could enjoy those sunsets! I wanted to ask you.... does it get cold in Hawaii? I think not but if it does how cold does it get?

Sussie Sutton It gets cold by our standards, which would be night time temps in the high 50's or low 60's. In the higher altitudes it gets even colder, and they have heaters or wood stoves up on the mountain side. About once every 5 years or so we get a light dusting of snow at the very top of the mountain and it might last for one or two days.
But in general it doesn't get COLD like most people understand cold to be. Very few homes have furnaces, and a fireplace or wood stove is usually enough.
