Sun City Grand Veterans Day events
On November 11, 2014 at 7am the Surprise Arizona Firefighter’s and Long Realty West Valley will put on a pancake breakfast at the Cimarron Center. Breakfast will be served until noon, proceeds will go to the firefighters “Aisles of Smiles” program that provides 150 Surprise, Arizona children Christmas presents.

At 11am the Veterans Day Ceremony in Sun City Grand will begin with the march of Veterans from the Palm Center into the Sagebrush Ballroom of the Sonoran Plaza. Any Sun City Grand resident Veteran who wants to participate in the march should meet in the lobby of the Palm Center at 10 a.m. and join the other members of their branch of the service for the march. The Veterans Day ceremony will begin with the entrance of Sun City Grand Veterans and will continue with moving tributes and music.
At 5:55pm the City of Surprise is honoring Staff Sergeant Nick D. Bacon at a Memorial Dedication in the south courtyard at City Hall.
