Dunedin is one of the smallest yet most happening cities in the county, and one of its most popular annual events is just around the corner! Every fall, this hopping little town hosts "Wines the Blues" - a sophisticated, upscale downtown event offering tastings of wines from vineyards all over the globe! And for your listening pleasure, there is a wonderful lineup of top-notch blues musicians from around the country performing all night. From the hours of 5:00pm till 11:00pm this Saturday (November 8th), Dunedin_Wines_the_Bluesmusic can be heard from various locations throughout the downtown area - 1) The west end stage near the Chamber of Commerce Building, 2) The east end stage near Pensare Italian Bistro, and 3) The main stage at Pioneer Park in the center of Downtown (where most of the main attractions will be performing). The entire main street area will be closed off to all traffic with the exception of pedestrians.

This year, Coastal Properties Group is a featured sponsor of the event and will be hosting its very own VIP party in the Dunedin office for its agents and their clients. The occasion also doubles as a 2-year anniversary celebration for the company, making the evening that much more meaningful and significant for all of us. If you plan on being at Wines the Blues, I invite you to stop by and say hi!

With each additional year comes new and exciting additions to the event! Well this year, the newest attraction is "The Craft House", a special VIP atmosphere fitted with vintage wine barrel bars and cigarette girls. It will grant guests access to local craft beers, fun pub games and delicious pub-style food. Bonus: included in the ticket price is a commemorative Craft House Dunedin Wines The Blues cup!

Feel free to come hungry, because there will be a vast selection of food trucks and vendors from the area's local restaurants, including specialty beverages! If dinning indoors is more your style, there are more than enough charming restaurants lining the streets of Downtown Dunedin, including Cafe AlfrescoBroadway Deli and CafeKelly's, and the ever-popular Casa Tina's, just to name a few. Dunedin_Wines_the_Blues_EventAnd as if there wasn't already enough to titillate the senses, the event will also include arts and crafts vendors along the main stretch! Dunedin sure knows how to throw a party!

The attendance at this unique event has recently climbed into the thousands and appears to be growing with each passing year according to the Pinellas County Police Department. There are even rumors flying around that it may not be long before this signature festival develops into a two or three day event (thanks to the increased interest and number of participants). I highly suggest you make plans to experience this amazing festival of wine, food, music, art, and simple fun! Check out this short promo video of the event and see for yourself! Rediscover the small-town charm of Dunedin. You won't regret it!
