 How does Redfin keep their agents safe?  I participated in a phone interview with Redfin early last summer, mostly out of curiosity.  After much thought it didn't feel like a good fit so I cancelled my interview with the area manager.  

But, back to my original question... it seem's as if Redfin gets the internet leads and expects their agents to show up to show the house- without really knowing who that person is.  Is that a misconception?

Very good point Ranee Bray! Seems to be focus on dollars over safety, that's not good at all, if that's the case.

Hi Ranee—Agent safety is really important to Redfin. Any client who contacts Redfin goes through a real-time ID verification process before they meet with an agent. The agent or another real estate professional at Redfin usually speaks with a new client on the phone before a tour or listing consultation is scheduled. Agents are encouraged to meet with new clients in a public setting, let their teams know where they are at all times and immediately leave any situation where they feel uncomfortable.
