You see what happens when business slows down. I lose focus. I jump track.
But I wonder - If Playboy were to do a shoot of the "BABES IN THE RAIN" how many would jump at the chance :)

You are loosing it! Real estate is not just doing the transaction. We as realtors, are in a constant lead generation mode. This is where we have to crank up the lead generation machine. Our skills set must include working with mets and non-mets. Have you read Gary Keller's Millionaire Real Estate Agent book? I think there is a great discussion in the book that talks about what Gary calls the 33 touch. This is a program where you "touch" your client 33 times during the year. These touches are phone calls, notes, emails, birthday cards etc.
The point of all of this is to stay at the top of the clients consciousness. Gary also says that we should be lead generating 2 hours a day which can include blogging, having coffee at Starbucks and talking about real estate to people.
Maybe you are already ahead of me and doing this, if not then try it. It will generate more leads and that will keep you busy so you don't have to worry about the Playboy tryouts.
Oh I dunno, gayle. I think Playboy tryouts might generate some business too. ;) We could have all our prospects vote on the Babes in the Rain, and to vote they have to give up their info so we can hunt them down and hound them about buying/selling.
But for fairness, we'd also have to run a Hunks in the Rain version as well.

I put "LOVE" in quotations so just like Gayle put "touch" in quotations so that we all know that its not the first definition of the word that comes to mind when we're talking about "Babes in the Rain"

I have NEVER purchased a copy of Playboy in my life. But, I do recall seeing a cover story on that MAG or another (penthouse??) that featured the girls at Enron. I think I know human nature enough to say confidently that if Playboy approached certain members of AR or did a casting call to women in real estate THEY WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM FILLING BOOK. I dont even think they would have to pay them.

As for agents willing to take it all off -- This agent didnt seem to have a problem with it. Do me a favor, after watching that video, let me know whether or not Judy is the kind of person that would also NOT impress you.
I am a conservative Christian - married 30 years (same women) 6 kids and dont condone reading playboy or a lesbian lifestyle - BUT I AM NOT ASHAMED TO SAY THAT I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM HAVING JUDY (if she were alive) AS A FRIEND AND/OR BUSINESS ASSOCIATE.
While my wife wouldnt permit me to purchase a calander of the the BABES OF AR I wouldnt have a problem with any agent who did do a playboy shoot. Are you one of those women that would secretly despise those who made the centerfold?
