Plum Creek Golf Course Castle Rock, CO Market Report - The market surrounding the Plum
Creek Golf Course has been one of the most active golf communities in the greater Metro Denver marketplace. I believe that a big reason for this is the new construction going on around the course coupled with the commuting convenience to Denver and the affordability of the area.
There are currently 29 homes for sale on or around the course, priced from $322K-1.25M. Castle Rock is located just 10 minutes south of The Denver Tech Center and had plenty of its own shopping and restaurants complete with a small town main street giving a lot of suburbanites the opportunity to have the small town feel, while enjoying plenty of "big city" activities and a quick drive to Denver for the arts and sports that are offered there.
There are currently 18 homes under contract including several lower price point condos and townhomes, another reason this is such a desirable area, imagine living in a golf community in a 3 bed, 3 bath 150
0 square foot home for under $200K, in Castle Rock it is a distinct possibility.
To date in 2014 there have been 99 homes sell in the Plum Creek Community, not counting the new construction that seems to be starting new projects every day. The price ranges for these sold homes start in the mid $150K's and climb up to $679K for a 5 bed 5 bath, 3600 square foot ranch.
A few other highlights of Castle Rock are the views, many homes are blessed with great views of Rampart Range, the quick commute to Colorado Springs to the south and plenty of state Parks are within a few miles of the town.
