Happy Valentines Day!
In Central Indiana, this will be known as the can you dig out Valentines Day? This is the view from my kitchen window this morning while I had my coffee. The sun is shinning and if I listen real hard, I can hear the humming of snow-blowers in the distance. City snow plow was through earlier this morning and threw the street snow into everyones driveway approach. Even with the snow-blower, it's work!
I'm one of the fortunate people in Indianapolis. . .I wasn't stuck sleeping in the airport because my flight was canceled yesterday. I'm not wondering if I'll be able to get out and on my way. I'm not one of the road crew workers that has been on 12 hour shifts since Monday night when the storm blew into Indiana. I'm also not one of the truck drivers that had to bear this weather in the mid-west to get my load where ever it needed to go. God bless the people that had to work through these difficulties.
I understand that Michigan and Ohio received a lot of snow and high winds too! My daughter told me it was tough getting out and to work this morning. She's in the Harper Woods area of Michigan.
So I guess you know what we'll all be doing at some point today, digging out!
Anyone up to touring some homes today? I'll bring my trusty shovel and 4-wheel drive. This Saturday's forecast is calling for some more snow. I think I'm ready for Spring!!!!
