Buying a New Home as a Single Woman
According to the National Association of REALTORS® single women have accounted for 16% of home sales in the past 12 months, nearly double the total for single men who have purchased homes during the same time frame. What does this mean? It means women are not waiting on relationships but are instead venturing out on their own and becoming homeowners!
Even single mothers are picking up keys to their own homes in lieu of renting, which is great news. With nearly 75% (per the U.S. Department of Labor) of single mom's holding a job, they are becoming a real estate force in markets all over the country.
The Infographic guide below should help women decide if the time is right, and give them both pointers and advice to decide if entering the real estate market in their locale is the smart move for them. When ready, they should be empowered, confident, and full of knowledge to seek out the perfect property for their needs.
