Women are now stronger, very independent and financially capable.  Single Ladies or Single ladies with kids are my favorite group of clients. They are very sophisticated, responsible, and they know exactly what they want.

A huge percentage of my mortgage business has been single women (some newly divorced, some never married, with and without kids). When we were selling my grandmother's home, I found that there was a really high percentage of single female homeowner's in the row homes surrounding hers.  People don't seem to be waiting until they "Settle down" to settle down!  This is a great graphic, well done.

Anita. You were certainly on the money with this post. My daughter was one of those Single Women who bought a home a couple of years ago, and there are truly more single women buying homes than single men.

Nice post, Anita!   I've seen several single women/moms purchasing over the last year or so in our area.   Their feeling of independence and price is always noticed.  Love the graphic!

Thank you for the perspective! I would've never thought to look into the percentages of single males and females purchasing homes. I guess it goes to show that there are people from all different backgrounds and in a wide variety of life circumstances who are in need of real estate assistance.
