Updated Nov. 8th Playoff Football Information for Delta County, Colorado
I have fabulous news to report...both Delta and Paonia will be advancing in the high school state football playoffs. I'm so excited.
Here's the details we have for today's games and the upcoming games:
Paonia won big again. The Eagles shut out Platte Canyon High School in Bailey, Colorado. The final score is 32 - 0. This was the quarterfinals game. Last week the Eagles shutout Wiggins 49 - 0. The team is really on a roll. Keep up the great work.
Paonia is undefeated this season. The semifinals game is against Resurrection Christian from Loveland, CO. It's not known where this game will be held. Paonia is a division 1A school.
The Delta Panthers had a tough game against Conifer in Conifer, but the Panthers stayed strong to beat Conifer 24 - 21. The quarterfinals game will be against Discovery Canyon High School from Colorado Springs. At this time it hasn't been determined where that game will be played. Delta is a division 3A school. The team's overall season record is 8 - 3. The league record is 5 - 2.
