The kitchen has cabinets that were customized by Rick Maurer of Highland Cabinets
: The doors and drawers of the cabinets were glazed and bead board was added to the cabinet ends and around the display shelf. Finials, molding and columns were added.
The island was painted white, hand distressed and glazed 
with a mocha glaze.
The glass display cabinet adds to the beauty of this kitchen.

Yolanda, I was going to get a different granite for the island to give it a contrast, but now I have decided to sell. I saw that set up in a kitchen in a house that was probably worth three times what mine is.
