Are you being deluged with dark comments about real estate, mortgage lenders, banks, a failing economy? Are you saddened to hear about all the marriages that are dying and families being ripped apart by divorce mainly due to major stress and financial disaster? Lost jobs, serious illness, a foreclosed or short-sale home, and an unstable, divided family could certainly lead one to despair...And if you are a caring, compassionate person who reads newspaper headlines and watches televised news, everyday life situations could really bring you down unless......UNLESS you realize that God sees it all, He loves you so much, He has Good Plans for you and these trials are teaching us endurance (I say 'us' cause I'm going through some tough stuff) and endurance produces strength (of character) and character produces HOPE....and I know for a fact that God loves us so much, my Hope is in Him and His Promises....If you are feeling overwhelmed I suggest you stay away from those who say you aren't working hard enough or you aren't spending enough time at the office, those who judge and criticize you instead of encouraging and blessing you! Get some prayer partners and call forth the Promises that the Lord has for you, believe and proclaim His Word, lift the name of the Lord over every situation, sing His Praises with a grateful heart whether you're prosperous or poor! Feeling weak? Read Psalm 121 and Isaiah 40 verse 31. Forgive those who (verbally) attack you and bless those who curse you. Jesus did, what a great example!
