What we'll do for a sale!

I've spent the last three years of my personal life in total chaos.  I'm finishing up a major renovation/addition project at my home.  The MAJOR construction got underway a year ago.  The previous two years were spent planning, meeting with trades people and waiting for the plans to get approved by the city.

Construction is not fun, but it's even worse when you live in it. For an "A-type" person, I have to say that I've done better than I expected.  The end is in site... Now what I look forward to the most is opening the many boxes of "goodies" that have been put away for three years now.  It's time to decorate and I couldn't be happier!

While I endured the renovation I took solace in my work.  My business has been bruised slightly by the sluggish Michigan economy... but I hold my own.  In fact, I just took 2 new listings this week.  One is a spec home that has been on the market for a year now.  The sellers are very motivated and have reduced the home to the lowest possible number that they can bare.  It's really a great buy.  However, its empty and it needs "something" to give it some new life in the marketplace.  I bet you can see where I'm going with this!

It's Friday night and I've just finished moving my furniture and some of my decorating items into this vacant spec home.  I guess that I'll continue to live without a coffee table and some of my fun vases, frames & such for the time being......I just hope that I get this listing sold fast.  What we do for our business is something isn't it??

I think you have moved more furniture than even me!  That's saying a lot!
