What Do You Do To Stand Out?

Sitting at gate C37 in Atlanta, the final leg of my trip back to Charleston from the NAR convention in New Orleans, I am passing the time, flipping through photos from the trip.

It's great to have photos to capture the moments, but nothing to compare to actually experiencing the energy and excitement happening in our industry.  If there is one thing I learned, it is that going above and beyond really makes a big difference.  Although there were hundreds of companies at the exhibits, one went above and beyond to carry out their branding message, even making special deliveries one evening to the participant's hotel rooms. Going above and beyond with special momentos that will be constant reminders of this company, bringing back memories of the extra effort they took too stand out. 

Every time I look at this luggage tag, I will ask myself, "What did I do today to stand out?"

Great post Janie! We all have to make ourselves standout from the crowd. In today's world of instant gratification where home buyers can look at literally thousands of web sites and listings in mere minutes. What makes them stay on yours? Differentiation is key when a multitude of choices are available. Good luck!
