Why Do People Live here?
The place I call home, Meridian Park is a quiet family neighborhood right in the heart of Shoreline. Access to shopping, services, recreation, schools, and arterials is quick and easy; and it's just a short hop to downtown Seattle. The central shoreline shopping area is highly walkable and bikeable, with the Interurban Trail running right through it, just blocks from home in Meridian Park. Shoreline repeatedly shows up over the years as a "Best Place to Live" by reviewers such as CNN, Seattle Magazine, Seattle Met and The Seattle Times. A small town for families with an outstanding school district and recreation program, a well-run city, and a friendly community, all just an arms-length away from the many attractions of Seattle.

What's the Neighborhood Like?
The homes you would expect to find for sale in the Meridian Park Neighborhood are generally going to range between 1,000 and 3,000 square feet. Most of the homes were originally built in the 1950s through the 70s.
More recently, builders have been replacing older, smaller homes with modern, more spacious homes, and you may find many pockets of tasteful new construction in the neighborhood. Many other homes have had updates and it's not uncommon to find homes that have new second stories, adding to the square footage of some of the more traditional homes.
The smallest homes in the neighborhood start with 2 bedrooms while the larger floor plans have a 5 bedroom layout. Most of the lots range in size from 6,000 square feet to over 10,000 square feet, so there is plenty of room for people to get out and enjoy the mild Pacific Northwest weather.
