The summit elevation was created by a volcano a very long time ago. Consider this...water runs from way up here all the way to the Pacific Ocean via Tryon Creek watershed running into the Willamette River flowing out to the Columbia River and Westward into the ocean. That image should help homeowners be more conscious of what's being washed into the storm water drains.
