How is The Market in Your Area?

I think that the market is level out pretty well in my area.  I find out that homes stay in the market longer, but usually sold within 4 to 5 months.  However, investment properties tend to suffer more in this marketing, since most banks require 20% down.

I believe that it might be the best time to buy if you are buying for the long term.  I hope that you heard the concept "buy and hold" in the stock market.  I recently gave my website a new make over and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Have you seen the snipe?

Even though I am supposedly in one of the worst markets, I must say business has been boomin lately and people are finally buying. I think this summer will shape up nicely with people in 2009 saying damn why didnt I buy.

The Spokane Real Estate Market is still very strong.  Inventory is up and days on market is up but prices are still strong.  Have not seen big depreciation like some areas of the country have seen.  What bothers me is the advice that I am hearing from the financial guys on the radio telling people to wait on buying a home due to falling prices.

I agree.  The market has picked up dramatically.

Will check out your site.

Although properties are not flying off the shelf (so to speak), things are moving. Buyers are making offers. Properties are closing. Ad you stated, some stay on the market for a few months. Most of my activity is actually new constructions that have been reduced in price. If it was as bad as the media portrays, we would all be doing something else!

Things are heating up here in North Jersey too. Certainly is a good time for buyers...and sellers who price correctly. Happy selling!!

Hello James and Denise,

We're doing quite a bit of commercial development in the Lehigh Valley and that market continues to do very well.  Lot's of activity with investors as well.    We just broke ground on 55,000 square feet of office / medical about a 1/2 mile from L.V.I. Airport and will be breaking ground on another 100,000 square feet within the next few months. Residential looks like it's also doing well in your area.

Brian
