Wow to every point here. I did not think it is so small, so this was a surprise to me. Average income is an envious number, and I doubt there are too many other places in the nation with such good income. At least not half of the nation.

And I do believe that it correlates with 96% of high school graduates.

But it is difficult to imagine surviving in real estate in such small place. Probably, this is one of the reasons you cover areas way beyond Lovettsville.

I like Jon was surprised at the low population of Lovettsville, high average list price point and high education and income percentages. Quite a range in prices but can see why there is a barrier to purchasing a home for many buyers..just too expensive. Great job of giving us the facts and helping everyone understand your market place better!

Thanks Dorie.  The explanation is partly because of the high tech employment in Loudoun County.  Good wages and high employment. 

Highly ranked public schools helps too.

As for Lovettsville, we are just 2 miles from MARC Train going to D.C. and of course, the Dulles International Airport helps too.

All things considered, it's a good place to own a home.
