Thanks for your comments, Lenn. Being homeowner as general contractor has been a great one-time experience for me. It's been very educational, and really has allowed me to shop around for subcontractors without having the standard 25 percent upcharge that general contractors often tack onto their invoices!
Love the marble and the kitchen is almost the new living room. Slow dining, food prep with a barley pop, xm and family or friends and hours can go by in the right kitchen set up!
Thanks, Andrew. Everyone has different tastes for countertops. The cabinets, floors and countertops go well together I think. We still need to get the marble backsplash done, and that likely will happen next week!
Good Morning Andrew - looks like your kitchen remodel is coming along, and looks beautiful.
Yes, sometimes you must change contractors. I worked with one about 10 years ago who was HORRIBLE!!

Andrew, The kitchen is looking great! 6 months is a long time to go with no kitchen. Are you living there during the reno? We plan to do renovations at some point and I hope and pray it goes smoothly.

It's going to be quite beautiful.
Just as we recommend a full time real estate practioner, I would always recommend using a full time contracting business.
