The 5 STAR TEXAS ADVANTAGE PROGRAM provides eligible homebuyers several options for a loan program that meets their needs. This program provides down payment and closing cost assistance in the form of a grant. The maximum amount of assistance provided is 5% of the loan amount. There is no repayment expected for this Grant. For homebuyers, this reduces their out of pocket expense and makes home ownership obtainable. Grant funds can be used to meet the buyer’s required investment. Loan terms for both options are fixed 30 year rates. If the seller is willing to pay some closing cost in conjunction with the 5% grant then you will have no out of pocket cost for you .

The borrowers have to make less than $75,670 per household if purchasing in Tarrant County, Parker, or Johnson Counties. Each county has its’ own limit. The size of the household is not taken into account. It doesn’t matter if it is one single person, or a family of 20. All income from the household is taken into account-even if all parties are not on the loan.

Our Down payment program provides a Grant of up to 5% for homebuyers. You do not need to be a First Time Homebuyer to use this program.
This program is available for the entire State of Texas with the exception of El Paso, Grand Prairie and McKinney.
Requirements:
A. You must have a credit score of 640 points
B. You will have to complete an online homebuyers education class. If there is only one person on loan it will be a cost of $100.00 ,if the loan has 2 people the cost will be $60.00 per person.
