This is one of my more embarrassing moments:
It wasn’t a morning I felt like driving and showing homes, but this poor gal, 8 ½ months pregnant was anxious to find a home before delivering the baby, and the return home of her husband from Afghanistan in six weeks. We arrived at the home, and fortunately the sidewalk and driveway had been shoveled, but where was the lockbox? Unfortunately, the supra lockbox was on the side door of the garage (next to a very steep hill), and the sidewalk was a solid sheet of ice, about 2 inches thick and a good twenty feet from the driveway. I advised my Buyer to stay put on the porch and I would return with the key.
I took two steps off driveway onto the sidewalk and and went schlip ** screaming a few choice words, as I fell on my butt. Thank goodness my butt is nice and padded so it was a soft thing to land on. Well, as I tried to roll and get up from a kneeing position to get my footing, I fell again, this time on my front, right underneath an ice jammed melting eaves. I couldn’t get up, and my pants were soaked. Over and over I rolled to get off the ice and onto the snow, eventually grabbing a thorny bush to stop myself sliding down an icy patch on the hill. I was finally able to stand and walked on little patches of grass to get to my car.

The only thing that was hurt was my ego. Thank goodness my Buyer didn’t fall and that my car had heated seats to keep my wet fanny warm until I got back home to put on a dry pair of pants.
