The real estate market in the Brookwood High School district continues to remain strong. Homes for sale in Brookwood have been appreciating quickly and the days on the market has been going down. As a resident in that district, here are some of the things I love about my area:
1. Convenience. From high end shopping to fine dining, I have it all within a couple of miles of my home. Never more than a five minute drive for groceries, gas, dining and more. Wal Mart and Target less than 2 miles from my home. Easy access to the high way via Ronald Reagan Parkway is another added plus.
2. Award winning schools. The Brookwood cluster continues to achieve recognition both nationally and locally. Brookwood High School is one of the best high schools in the United States. As a parent, I am very pleased with the education that my children are receiving and how excited they are to learn.
3. Community. Strong sense of community. When a developer recently wanted to build apartments in our community, the community joined hands together in peaceful protests letting the elected officials and developers know that the community did not support the extra traffic, sprawl etc that would create.
4. Great neighborhoods. Flowers Crossing at the Mill, Kensington, Brightwater, Havenstone (gated), Montclair, Brookwood Manor, Terra Sol, Woodlands, and Waterford Township are just a few of the fine neighborhoods you can check out. Go to www.homesinbrookwood.com for a comprehensive list.
