Do You Ever Really Catch Up?

Mondays can be pretty crazy for me. Today was no exception. Actually I've been trying to get caught up for the last two weeks. I think I'm almost there. 

Mondays are crazy, and I came out of today with a longer list than that with which I went in.

Yes. Today was brutal in usual Monday fashion.  A stupid wrong address direction... you know E instead of W today was the sole culprit of a closing delay. The buyers have driven from out of state. The seller had to also delay the closing on their buy end.  Sigh.  And that one little letter was a huge time suck in my day.

I would say I never catch up, on any day!

     I take Mondays off.  That way, there can be no problems.

  Just kidding!  I wish I wish I wish, LOL.

I think Mondays are made for surprises Tammy, this makes it impossible to catch up. Tuesdays are always there to help out!  :)

Mondays can be tough - especially when you have worked the entire weekend.

Just when I sit back and think "all caught up," i get a new avalanche of emails and phone calls.  It's a never ending battle, and I need better time management to handle it all!

Tammy, it sounds like you need an assistant maybe.

I never feel like I am caught up.  At the end of the day I mentally list all that I have accomplished to avoid total frustration.

Tammy~ It's just Mondays. I feel that way most days. That's why I came up with my 3 top priorities to accomplish each day. Usually I can do that much!

Hi Tammy, I always enjoy the potential of a Monday with so many plans to accomplish.  With a well written plan most of  those unexpected things can be deflected to another day while you work to accomplish your big rock tasks.

Review that list at the end of the day and you may feel more accomplished, knowing that you really did accomplish a lot.
