What makes the West Side of Danbury special?
For many clients relocating to the Danbury area, they are amazed to see what is going in on the west side of town. It doesn't surprise me,since I have always lived on the west side of Danbury, with a 2 mile radius of the mall. Durning all my years here, I have seen the beginning of the boom, and I don't see anything around that could possiblity slow it down. I would say I’m the neighborhood expect of all things in the western Danbury. This is particually true when you are talking about such an important thing such as buying or selling real estate. There are many great things about living here.
Positive features include:
-Preservation of Open Space
-New York Accesss
-Easy access to shopping
There are a few potential drawbacks:
-Traffic on Mill Plain Road
-Lack of ‘starter homes’ and starter apartments
-Perceived over development
-Lack of box stores
