Update on Stone Port Area

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Kline May Realty

Hello all, Aimee here blogging on behalf of Kline May Realty and our family of agents. Today we're going to talk about a couple different construction projects going on in the Stone Spring Road area, including information on The Reserve at Stone Port.

If you're traveling from Port Republic Road to Route 11 or Route 42 any time soon, the new Stone Spring Road is now open. If you're traveling toward Harrisonburg, you can access the newly finished road from Port Republic Road just after you pass the hospital. What a smooth drive! An office source says that the connector road from 33 to Port Republic Road will be finished shortly, and the progress you see from the side of the road on Route 33 suggests that same thing.

The Stone Port concept, which includes luxury non-student apartments, is envisioned to be a 27-acre village. The village is set to include a restaurant, pharmacy, grocery store, and several other community staples, but the only project completed currently is the Bojangles. The luxury apartments will be available at the end of this year, though. Several other retail businesses are coming to Stone Port, but the names of those businesses will not be released until some time in 2015.Recently, the sales representative from the Reserve at Stone Port attended our Tuesday morning Sales Meeting to discuss the luxury apartment complex community. The complex includes a long list of amenities like a club room with a professional chef's kitchen, a wide screen movie theater, a pool, a kiddie pool, a firepit, and a dog park. Check back after the first of the year, and we will update you on the businesses that will be opening at Stone Port.
