Now That Things Are In Place,

Let's Get It Closed Up.

Sometimes you just have to open things up to see the whole picture before the repairs can be done. One example of when there is a problem under the kitchen sink. With the counter and cabinets removed, it is a lot easier to get in and do the repairs. Imagine working on this inside a base cabinet and all the other distractions.

Hi, Tom...some mistakes may have stayed hidden if you hadn't been able to remove the cabinets and open up the wall. Looks like this was the only way you could do this...and do it right. Lucky for these homeowners, they had Tom Arstingsall working for them!

Water leaks can be difficult to fix. A drop that is seen here could have come from way over there

Sometimes it is a pain to move the cabinets out and repair the wall, but when you need to get to the leak it is worth it.

Imagine people leaving it like that and moving the sink to another spot in the room!

I have seen that!

Once people complained about a smell in the kitchen and nobody knew what to do about it.   Having been in that model many times I suggested that the sink had been moved and maybe they didn't seal the plumbing up properly.

Opening up the wall later they found something like your photo!  Problem solved.
