Healdsburg's Los Amigos Ranch is a classic California landscape with rolling hills and open meadows dotted with a variety of oaks. The zoning allows for up to five main residences, either as a compound, or split into separate parcels depending on what new buyers would choose to do. It would make an ideal property for wanna-be winemakers with up to fifty plantable acres in the Russian River and Chalk Hill appellations. There's more detail on vineyard issues at Los Amigos Ranch on the website.
The property isn't hard to show, but the dimensions of this 201 acre ranch make it challenging to understand in one viewing. For example the southern property line is nearly a mile long and includes a beautifully shaded creek, several elevated meadows, an oak-topped knoll, a 50 acre meadow suitable for vineyards, and a riparian area near a different creek. Just walking that line and observing the scenery is nearly an hour by itself.
In order to showcase the property without asking for a big time commitment, we had an aerial video prepared. It does a great job of showcasing the property and surrounding hills.
There are more details for the property at the 11450 Los Amigos Rd web site.
