It would tickle me pink.... Where did that line come from anyway?
It would tickle me pink to find a buyer for a couple of my own listings. While I don't do dual agency, I'd be happy as a clam "what makes a clam happy?" to pass the client to an associate to write.
I have two vacant listings that are owned by the same investor. That investor is also parent to my grandson Eli's best buddy Jack. Last week on retreiving Eli from Jack's house I learned that the delightful little house shown here has been invaded in the past 4 weeks by a transient who moved in lock, stock and barrel, and then prceeded to rent out the extra bedrooms. Nice little cash cow for him.
Now we'll be doing randomly scheduled open house to disuade these folk from kicking in the door nightly so that they can go to bed. The investor is afraid to remove any belongings as he isn't clear what his or the transients rights are. He does know that the police have a recorded case number and while they know who the transient is 'thanks to the relative who ratted" they have not made an arrest or provided any counsel to the investor as to his next step.
Come join me Saturday April 5th from 11 - 3
I'll be calling the local Centralia police to do a walk-through prior to my entering
301 Denny Way
Maybe I'll bring donuts.
I've have transients move into my listings in the past. Most have been easy to tend to and did not require police. The last was a female who on receipt of my note saying "OOPS, Caught you... Please Leave" left me a note saying "Thanks I'l be gone by ..... I promise to leave it clean" and she did.
I am taking an associate with me on Saturday. It's just better to be safe than sorry.
