This time of year, I try to collect my thoughts about how much I am blessed.
Count your living relatives. They won't be here forever.
Be greatful for good health. Money can't give you that, and many people would trade you easily.
Count your friends. A friend is someone you would give a thousand dollars to without asking what it's for. That should make your list a little shorter. Everyone else is an acquaintance passing through a window in your life. Nice folks, but not your friends. If you have any your lucky. If you have more than one, you are truly fortunate. You are also fortunate in that you really don't have many enemies either!
