South Suburban Golf Community - Centennial, CO There are actually four golf courses that make up the courses of South Suburban, they are Lone Tree an 18 hole championship course in Lone Tree, Family Sports, and executive 9 hole course that is very family friendly and has perhaps the best practice facility in Colorado, and is also home of the Colorado Avalanche hockey practice arena, Littleton Golf Course, an 18 hole executive course that is surrounded by low maintenance condos and town homes and a wonderful senior living center.
But the one I am referring to today is the South Suburban Golf Course and its surrounding
communities of Heritage Greens, a mature luxury home community, The Fairways, a group of Luxury Patio homes and Chardonnay a small enclave of gated executive patio homes.
South Suburban Golf Course is one of Denver's busiest courses year in and year out, the greens are always in great shape and are fats and quite challenging, the fairways are relatively open and players of all abilities enjoy playing the course, and for those just getting started or if you only have an hour or wish to work on your irons there is a very nice par 3 course on the northwest corner of the property.
Homes in Heritage Greens will range in price from the mid $400Ks to just over a $1M for homes that back to the course. Homes in Chardonnay, if you are lucky enough to find that rare one that comes on the market will be in the mid $600Ks for a non golf course home and closer to $1M for one on the course. The Fairways offers patio homes from the mid $400Ks to the upper $600Ks and about half of them are on the course.
2014 has seen its share of activity with only 4 homes currently available, ranging in price from $450K-1.4M. There are two homes currently under contract at almost the identical price of just under $640K.
There have been 30 home sales so far in 2014, from a $412K non golf course patio home in The Fairways to a beautiful golf course home in Heritage Greens that had unbelievable golf course and mountain views and over 5300 finished square feet on the walkout lot.
