Children are precious. As a mother of two and grandmother of four, I know the feelings inspired by their little faces, fingers and toes.
Joan Cox wrote a blog today about being involved in a car accident with clients in her vehicle. (No children were involved in Joan's accident and thankfully no one was hurt!)
In my comment on that blog, I mentioned that I do not transport my clients' children in my car.
Maybe I am in the minority on this issue.
But, I wanted to take an informal poll about what other agents do and how they feel about this particular issue.
I would imagine that most of us here are parents, so empathy should be no problem.
Living in metro Atlanta, with notoriously bad traffic and accidents on every corner, I made the decision in 2006 to not, under any circumstances, transport my clients' children in my car.
I could never recover from being responsible in anyway for an injury to a child.
I have had many opportunities to explain my NO Children on Board policy to clients.
No one has ever objected.
In fact, I think most feel some measure of relief.
How do you deal with the implications of driving other people's children in your car?
Waylon got his first haircut yesterday,
he got a new snarl with the new 'do!
