Ed, different people respond to different types of follow up so it's tough to keep track of everyone. I get calls with the same question of "are you still lending in our area?". Sure am! Glad to know they reached out to you.

Chris Ann Cleland , they are a nice couple and I will give them as much attention as they require.
John Meussner , the important part is that they called and a new search has already been set up for them

Ed, presumably you were top of mind and the first person they reached out to for help. You've got to be doing something right!

Ed, I've also received the same kind of call...not sure what was made out of all the emails sent them...but getting back to them immediately and turning that negative into a positive was perfect.

Ed, it is hard to understand sometimes, but as long as they find their way back to us, at least we know they have not forgotten the name.

Ed, I had the same reaction as John Meussner . And, some people just don't read the emails. and, many toss the calendar as they have their own preferred calendar or way to keep track. It may also be that they've recently seen a lot of people switch careers.
But, great response and approach. Maybe at some point later, ask them abt this and what you could/should do to stay top of mind w/ other customers. I bet you'll get some great advice.

Thanks Ed for reblogging about my husband's book! I know he will be thrilled when I tell him that you reblogged - He'll ask me to explain that for sure!

Congrats on them finding you, even though it might not quite be the way one would expect. Might be an interesting conversation to have with them in terms of what follow-up they like having, vs. not. It IS an interesting commentary n that the marketing we do might not quite work the way we expect it to. Clearly it's important to evaluate from time to time

It's times like these that I think an occasional phone call is a good idea. Just to say hi and remind folks we're always there for them.

Good morning Ed. That is going to happen, but they contact you which is all that matters. It is impossible to reconnect with everyone, I am always working on better ways to stay in touch.

This is an interesting topic. I think so many of us have become involved in social media, and the audience beyond, that we sometimes neglect our tried and true clients of the past. Over the years, they have been my most consistent source of business.

Hi Ed: The good thing is they have forgotten you. Then you can take it from there. It is an impression you left with them that matters.

We may be hardest on ourselves Ed, they did call you! :)
I think it is important to think about those things that we assume are working for us when we try to stay in contact.
Ed, you're doing everything you possibly can, important thing is, they did reach out to you when it was time to buy. I agree with Tom, we are sometimes hardest on ourselves.
Hi Ed Silva , Sometimes we get so busy with ourselves, that we miss important opportunities. I know I need to discipline my self more in keeping in touch.
Ed:
I love it. The next best thing is when your neighbor friend puts their house on the market with another brokerage only to say. "We completely forgot you were in Real Estate". lol. I would be a rich man if I could be in the room when people I know make decsions on real estate.
Hey...at least they called, right? Glad you got them in your pipeline.
