Ah, Charlotte's fabled traffic fairy-tales. Sometimes they can be more like nightmares. Our city is expanding and growing at such a rate that roads and thoroughfares can hardly keep up. That's not to say that major plans to decrease commute times and improve our roads aren't in the works, but construction takes a long time. When looking for a home, you'll want to know how long you can expect your commute to be. It has a big impact on what you can afford or simply put up with.
