Garden of Lights Opens at the San Diego Botanic Garden
in Encinitas December 6, 2014
The annual Garden of Lights will open this Saturday, December 6th, and the beautiful San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas, CA.
The San Diego Botanic Garden is wondrous any time of year, but is particularly magical when brightened by over 100,000 twinkling lights for this annual Garden of Lights event.
You can view the garden of lights from December 6th until the 23rd, and then again from the 26th to the 30th, from 5 – 9 daily (garden opens at 9 am).
And if the beauty of the lighted gardens is not enough for you, you can also enjoy horse drawn buggy rides, marshmallow roasting, Santa, holiday crafts, live music and refreshments. They will offer mulled win on certain evenings, and you can expect some snow to “fall” on select nights.
