Holiday at the Rancho takes place this Saturday, December 6, from 5 – 8 PM at the Leo Carrillo Ranch Park located at 6200 Flying LC Lane off Melrose in Carlsbad.
The Holiday at the Rancho offers a host of fun things to see and do – face painting, holiday crafts and shopping, holiday themed activities (e.g., decorate cookies), food, entertainment, a tree lighting ceremony with Santa starting at 5:15 with photo opps to follow PLUS an outdoor movie (let’s hope our rain stops!).
The Ranch will be decorated with lights and holiday décor and will offer a snow hill (we don’t see THAT here in our area!).
Admission is $8.00 per person, with children 3 and under free. Purchase your tickets by 4 PM on Dec. 5 and get in for just $6!

Good morning Jeff. I'm sure the Leo Carrillo Historic Ranch in Carlsbad will have a huge turnout. Thought about you and all the rain. Hope you guys are okay. We are praying for a half inch today coming from CA. We have clouds now for them to produce.

Thanks, John. Yes the rain has been such a blessing. It is so badly needed and thankfully in our area we had a decent amount but no major downpours so no real issues with flooding, etc.
